Hello, This assignment I found very interesting because I am not use to focusing on shapes, reflections, light and pattern. Below are some photos I too at Westfarms Mall West Hartford. Many people were looking at me while I took these. I didn't expect that. I am sure they were wondering why is she taking photos at the mall. But I enjoy taking these in our town environment paying particular attention to the shapes in the frame and the quality of light on the subject.
Wow... Sophie... what a great series! I love your observation that people looked at you with the expression of "why is she taking pictures of that?" Perfect. You know you are on the right track when that occurs!
ReplyDeleteYour camera handled these exposures perfectly and I can tell that you did a great job of editing them in Photoshop. Your appreciation for how the shadows added to the composition is apparent and the way you gathered the light to highlight the focal point is perfect. Well done!
