Hello Everyone, My name is Kimberly Irving and this is my second mod taking classes at Albertus Magnus, I transferred in last spring for mod 4. I transferred from Manchester Community College where I majored in Social Service and minored in Early Childhood Education. At Albertus I am majoring in Human Services and hope to graduate by May 2022. I work at a daycare right now as an Infant Teacher and I have been here for a year. I don't have any children but I hope to have some in the future seeing as how I love them! The goals that I have for this class are to better understand photography, I enjoy nice photos especially scenic views and nature and I'd love to know how to take great pictures of those. I will be using my iPhone XR as seen in this photo to shoot my work and I will be uploading the images from my iPhone onto my laptop to edit them in Adobe. Looking forward to a great semester!
Hi Kimberly... I love the shot you took... your camera is certainly up to the task at hand. See how beautiful the light is on your face? See how not only is your face framed by the mirror the focal point of the picture, but also the source of light in the photo? That is exactly what most of the content of the class is about... how to see that and edit for it in all of your work. Welcome!
