This week I visit Middletown, CT Wadsworth Falls State Park & West Hartford, CT Elizabeth Park. What a cool experience, perfect weather when I was there! I really felt the pressure it took a while to try to find the right lighting there were to many trees blocking the sun light. As far as the rocks formations and sand patterns I was glad to find them but I had to zoom in a lot in order to get the shot. It took probably over 80 pictures because some of my shots came out super bury. I'm glad that I move in close to the waterfall taking photos of moving water was cool. This was my first time ever seeing a waterfall in person. This class has me doing things I never done before, I don't regret it one bit! 😊

I'm so glad you enjoyed getting out and discovering new things... Imagine, professional photographers are paid to do that every day... :)
ReplyDeleteWadsworth Falls is a great place to visit... there is a path to the left that takes you down to the bottom of the falls... looking back at them from below is a great place to shoot them.
I live the rippled reflections in the bottom shot and the framing of the shot just up from it. Shooting on an overcast day can also reveal beautiful elements as you are not dealing with the contrasty light direct sun gives you.
Sounds fun what photographers do. Maybe I can do this? Who knows...I am sure a lot more goes into. I plan to go back and see what other elements I can find. I think I found a new hobby lol.
ReplyDeleteI think my 2 favorite shots are the sewer pipe and the running water (picture under the sand). These were great!
