Macro Photography

Macro photography is pretty cool. I did the best I could. I did my usual weekend walk and took photos of these beautiful flowers, found a bee flying around in some flowers. Plus my mom, cat and dog. With the bee shots was very difficult to capture due to it flying around from flower to flower so much. But I look forward to more practice with macro photography.

  1. Nice Sophie... Macro forces us to shoot in close so the frame naturally gets filled with the essential subject. My favorites are the portrait of the dog (also great for the portrait assignment.) and the bee just above it... Try moving in even closer to the dahlias and filling the frame straight on with just the flower petals... you will be amazed.

  3. I really like the shots of the flowers you took, especially the first one. It is a really nice color and you were able to get really close!
